Kia ora I'm Luisa; farm girl, and full time news nerd. 

I love being on the cutting edge of news, and being part of covering important stories and events. 

During my time at Broadcasting School I have developed a passion for creating and producing current affairs programmes including as a producer for Metronews. As a producer I learnt invaluable leadership and organisational skills – it was a big step up but one I enjoyed.

I pride myself on being professional, motivated and organised. 

Through travel, and applying my German language skills, I developed a strong sense of global story-telling.  

I'm a hard worker, and always reflect on how I can improve and do better.  

I'm excited to keep developing my journalism skills over my career, but most excitingly during my internship.
