Kyan Krumdieck is from the NZBS Screen class of 2014. He is now a writer/director for the latest @TVNZ OnDemand comedy, Sextortion, starring Tom Sainsbury, and Kathleen Burns. In Sextortion we learn incriminating footage has emerged of a conservative Christian politician in a very awkward S&M session, just months out from the 2020 election, and the dominatrix sets out to blackmail him. It all seems incredibly plausible right now :)
Kyan (ex Burnside High School) worked with creative partner, Kent Briggs and producer Orlando Stewart came up with the story idea. As he explained to NZBS Head, Tony Simons, they then ran a writers' room including Tom Sainsbury and several others.
